You do get an option to upgrade to a backlit keyboard for $20, which is nice. There is no option for a higher resolution screen. Also note that the processor options are for low voltage Sandy Bridge class Core i3 and i5, not the latest Ivy Bridge 3rd generation processors.
The ENVY 6t has about the same specs as the ENVY 4t, except of course with a larger 15.6” screen, which most unfortunately is 1366 x 768 and also has no option to upgrade to a higher resolution. The weight of this model starts at around 4.75lbs, which is very light for a notebook of this size. The thickness remains the same at 0.78”. Another difference is the fact that the base configuration, which starts at $799, has an Intel Core i5-2467m. Here’s a complete rundown of the base specs for the ENVY 5t:
Display: 15.6 inches (1366 x 768 resolution)
CPU: Intel Core i5-2467m
Graphics: Intel HD 3000 or AMD Radeon 7670M discrete
Memory: 4GB 1600MHz DDR3
Storage: 500GB HDD 5400RPM
Connectivity: 802.11a/g/n
Ports: Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 (2), USB 2.0 (1), HDMI, SD reader
Weight: 4.75lbs
Thickness: 0.78”
Battery life: 8.75 hours

One thing we’d be remissed in not mentioning is the fact you can customize a decent AMD 7670M discrete graphics card in both models. That will allow for some light gaming while on the go. That fact along with the light weight, long battery life and the price should make these two new ENVY entries popular with the mainstream crowd.
