We reviewed the Lenovo Y480 a couple of weeks ago and the bottom line on this model is that it’s a great budget level portable laptop that’s got gaming capabilities and a lot of power. The price started out at $999 upon release a couple of weeks back and is now all the way down to $799, so this is a fantastic deal. Last week there was a sale in which it was $849 so with this $50 price drop it’s an all time low price!

Remember, you’re getting the latest Intel Core i7 3rd generation processor, a pretty decent graphics card in the form of the Nvidia 640M (albeit it the less powerful LE version), an ample 8GB of RAM, whopping 1TB hard drive and on top of all that just a well built notebook that’s got a lot of nice features.
