How to Sync Android Phone With Google Services

Insert SIM (subscriber Information Module)

The first thing you need to do is insert your GSM SIM card and make sure that the network tower signals can be seen. Alternatively, you can set up the WI-FI access because internet is needed to sync up with online services For the WI-FI to be set up, press the 'Home' button this will prompt you to press the 'menu' button and last but not least 'settings'. At the top of the screen you will find the status bar which displays the time battery status, signal strength and other information plus notifications icons. Basically, the status bar shows you the state of your Android phone.

You can also find widgets which are applications that can be used directly on the home screen. By touching the items on the home screen you access them. When you wish to create a shortcut for an application or a widget, all you need to do is touch and hold on an empty spot. The launcher icon at the bottom of the screen is for viewing all applications.
