Apple iPhone 4 8GB to Join iPhone 5 Release

It looks as though the UK mobile phones market is to get a cheaper 8GB edition of the iPhone 4 released very soon for those on a tight budget but wanting the iconic iPhone in their pocket.

Joining the iPhone 4 16GB and 32GB models the 8GB simply offers a smaller internal memory capacity whilst retaining all of the key features that have made the iPhone 4 such a wanted mobile phone.

This very same practice by Apple was performed when they first released the current 4th generation model, the company immediately released an 8GB edition of their iPhone 3GS alongside the 16GB and 32GB versions of the older model and it is still being sold today.

It seems only fair, in this tough economic environment, to make the Apple iPhone brand available to as many consumers as possible and if it means having a smaller memory to cut back costs but retain that unique design and features that everybody wants nobody will be any the wiser when it's pulled from a pocket.

This iPhone 4 8GB models has been almost confirmed by two unknown Reuters sources who state that the new model is now in manufacturing by an undisclosed Korean company and that this new lower memory device will be launched within weeks.

With the release of the iPhone 5 rumoured to be on October 21st after a event on October 4th announcing the new model, a more affordable iPhone 4 will be music to the ears of many parents this Christmas as the Apple device makes it onto many a Christmas wish list.

There is also a rumoured iPhone 4S on its way soon which is said to be a slight downgrade to the existing model, we think there may not be room for two devices sharing a lower price band and it is more likely that Apple will release the 5th generation handset alongside the more affordable new 8GB iPhone 4.

The new iPhone 5 is set to feature an upgraded camera from 5.0 mega pixels to 8.0 mega pixels, a larger touch screen display, a reworked antennae design and a slimmer overall form factor as Apple vie for the 'slimmest smart phone in the world' headline from the current Samsung Galaxy S2.

Apple is rumoured to have already assigned production for their next model to two manufacturers; Hon Hai and Pegatron, with orders of around 45 million units ready for launch.
