Is Their A Future For Laptop Chargers?

When we are on the go, we often take with us our laptops to continue to work on job assignments, school assignments or even to surf the internet or update your status on Twitter or Facebook. The point is, people are rarely at home and since computers are the way to go, people often have to take their work or assignments with them on the go. Laptop chargers are essential for anyone who heavily relies on their laptop. Actually, they are essential for ANYONE that has a laptop.

Though people are also relying heavily on tablets and smart-phones to get part of their jobs done, a laptop is still useful for many reasons and with the future ahead, they probably are not going to disappear for a while. So since chargers are so widely used to charge a computer, what could the future of them be? Sure, the chargers are primarily wired now, but is there a future for manufacturers to develop a wireless version?

You might be surprised to know that they already exist. Well, right now chargers come in the form of charging pads. There is a technology that enables electricity to be conducted with the laptop sitting on the laptop charger pad. Other wireless chargers are also on the market. The chargers have an inbuilt receiver that allows it to receive electromagnetic induction, creating a magnetic force and through copper coils, this allows for the laptop chargers to work wirelessly.

Additionally, when traveling in a vehicle, many cars have adapters for car chargers. One technology that really is not so new that can help a person use chargers in a moving car are other adapters. These adapters plug into a power adapter or cigarette lighter, much like a car cell phone charger. However, it has plug-in holes where any type of electronic can be plugged in. This enables a person to use their chargers in vehicles as well.

What about solar-powered laptop chargers? Supposedly, this is something that people can do on their own, but building this type of laptop charger takes a little bit of knows how about electricity and solar panels. The cool thing about these chargers are used by the power of the sun. That is not a very good option on a rainy day but it is very economical and environmentally friendly. It is more of a "green" method to laptop chargers. It is suspected to see them on the market in the very near future as people determine ways to create them and manufacture them in mass production methods.

Regardless of the future of laptop chargers, they are imperative to providing power to your laptop. Taking care of the ones that you have to ensure that they give your battery an extended life and charge it in a short amount of time are pretty critical characteristics of good laptop chargers. However, other means of laptop chargers may someday also be more inexpensive as people are moving around more and are not "plugged" in to the wall as much.
