There are many different brands that manufacture computers these days and the chargers are not typically interchangeable among brands. However, if you have one version of a Dell laptop, you can usually use the same charger cord with another type of Dell laptop. If your laptop does not come with a laptop charger, it is necessary to find one that will work with it. If one does not, for example, if a person buys a refurbished computer, there are options online where one can be found that is compatible with your particular laptop. You simply need to plug-in to a search what brand of laptop you are using along with the model number and you should be able to find one that will work.

When caught in a pinch or traveling on the go, it is important to take a charger with you wherever you take your computer.
